Hi , I have just returned from a gp appointment ( which was requested by the surgery not by me) when I got there they apologised profusely as an x-Ray I had previously had was overlooked. I had an x-Ray on my legs and ankles as I was in pain where they then discovered calcification of the arteries in both feet and ankles (aged47) they gave me blood tests as this is associated primarily with diabetes and they were all negative . No follow up was issued. I have recently suffered with my heart rate falling into the 30’s whilst I am asleep. Very low blood pressure. Extreme bouts of dizziness, brain fog and general feelings of being unwell during the day. They now feel there is a connection. Feeling concerned as to what this can mean .
For clarity this x-Ray was done 2 years ago so I am assuming things have worsened I feel really let down nothing happened at the time. Has anyone experienced anything similar ? I am now being told there will be lots of tests , an ECG monitor first . What questions should I be asking ? I felt blindsided today and couldn’t think straight . Want to be better prepared when I go in again. Any suggestions gratefully received .

Hi, OP, I'm just giving this a bump for you, I'm so sorry you're having to go through this, hopefully someone will be along shortly to give you some answers 💐

I’d recommend the Health Unlocked website, you’re more likely to find someone with knowledge of your problem

Not a doctor but I’d have thought theyd have you in hospital for tests asap. 30 sounds low.

If you feel unwell at all over the weekend I’d be in the phone to nhs24 telling them what youve told us and seeing if they want you in. It might get you seen quicker ss heart issues should be taken seriously.
