Bloody mosquitos!

The little buggers have made a real meal of DD - even biting her eyelid. I've bought the plug-in buzzy thing and some spray but I wondered if anyone had any tips for a) making her not quite so tasty! and b) dealng with the bites she does get.

Wash her before bed, they are drawn by the stronger scent. I saw someone test the theory on tv once, he washed one leg and left the other unwashed and in the morning he had loads of bites on the unwashed leg but I think only one or two on the washed one.

You can get natural repellants that are good for children, Burt's Bees do a good one, it's only natural oils.

feed your lo marmite on brown toast, it creates a chemical reaction in the skin that the mozzas hate, its worked for me for years

Have also heard of the marmite trick (unfotunately only at the weekend), Im on antibiotics at the mo after catching a bad infection from mosi bites last wk, covered from head to toe.

Marmite on toast coming up for breakfast.. watch this space I actually do eat a lot of marmite and garlic and I never get bitten, thinking about it.
