Possible Vitamin A, C and D overdose

My 18 month old had hold of the bottle this morning, I thought the lid was on but it wasn’t, and when I turned round it was by her mouth. I have worked out how much she could possibly have had from how much is gone from the bottle (luckily it was new) and the most she could have had is 4 x the dosage which equals:

Vitamin A - 932microgram

Vitamin C - 80milligram

Vit D - 40microgram

Does anyone know if this is a risk? I have had to drop her in nursery as I’ve got a meeting at 9.30am and 111 won’t give me any advice unless she’s with me to do an assessment first. She’s been fine all morning since then. It’s so frustrating we can’t call poison control in this country

I don’t know the answer but 25 years ago, when I was worried about my toddler (who had bitten the top of a thermometer, I phoned the GP surgery and they phoned the poisons unit at St Bart’s Hospital.

That no longer seems to exist but the advice on the National Poisons Information Service is to phone your GP or 111 (unless 999 is appropriate).

Hope your daughter is OK.

Hopefully you contacted your GP?? Bonkers that you dropped her at nursery before seeking medical advice

When one of mine was about 1 she ate a whole tub of vitamin gummies while my parents were watching her, she was fine.

Wow, so you've no idea if she's been poisoned but took her to nursery anyway. I'm guessing you didn't let them know either. Disgraceful.

Any update? Did you even look into it any further?
