I don't think cancer typically presents with red blood, internal piles is far more likely, especially as you've had piles in pregnancy before.

I'm sorry for your loss and hope your GP/ midwife can give you reassurance soon.

Sorry you’re going through this. Firstly step away from google, it is not going to help you feel better. Secondly ring for a GP appointment asap, I say this as someone who got very worked up and put off an issue I should have dealt with immediately. Doctors have seen and heard it all before and will get you the right treatment or investigations. I promise you will feel so much better once you have had spoken to a professional.

It’s a frightening thing to see. If it helps I have been living with this sort of thing for years. It’s quite obviously piles for me and I’ve been examined a few times too over the years. Not pleasant but since you’re pregnant you’ll be au fait with getting your bits out soon enough anyway!
Honestly just get it checked. The likelihood is that it’s piles or maybe an anal fissure. But for your own peace of mind just get checked. Or at least speak to your midwife.

Stop googling, it doesn’t do any good. If you want to google you’re better off googling the actual symptoms of rectal/bowel cancer because blood in your stool is too broad. Blood in your poo to worry about is black/tarry blood or blood that looks like coffee grounds. Red, fresh blood is usually from constipation, internal or external piles, or an anal fissure (little cut in ya bum from straining with a big poo)

I know how seeing blood when you poo can freak you out though so here’s a lil funny story for you:

When I went through this panic I was on high alert for ages - and one night before bed I went for a poo and I wiped and there was loads of blood.. I absolutely freaked out, rang 111, they suggested a callback within 1 hour. - in that hour of me freaking out I went back to the toilet to check if any blood was ‘leaking’ from my bum hole to realise I actually just started my period 🥲 I called 111 for my period. Mortified I had to tell them I wasted their time when they called me back.
