Knocked off scab from skin excision

Last Monday (8th) I had a skin biopsy incision which the wound is about an inch long, just below knee. It was to remove a mole which grew and darkened over 18 months. Had no dressing on the wound for 7-8 days. It was stitched with dissolvable stitches which most have gone.

Yesterday, I tripped up and smacked my leg on the scab. It bled - not pouring. Put a large plaster over the wound and changed it twice since. It’s bleeding a bit almost 24 hours, just spotting. Been keeping my leg up most of the day. Wound looks deep. Worried that I have to spend another 10 days with feet up. I’m bored. If it continues to bleed tomorrow morning, do I try to make an appointment with the nurse - my GP practice does same day appointments, ring 111 or dermatology?

Practice nurse for a wound check. They will be able to dress and book any follow up appointments you need.
