Treating skin tags yourself

I've had a really annoying skin tag on my armpit for years, and have finally got round to looking into treatment. I can't afford to get it lopped off professionally so I'm looking into At Home methods, but all the products I've come across have fake reviews. Please can you tell me how you sorted yours?

I tied a bit of thread around mine really tight. Took a few weeks to fall off.

Yep have five this myself for skin tags, thread really tightly tied round the base and it dies. Can take a few days or a week…where they go when they fall off I don’t want to think about. One came off straight away with the thread as it had already gone dark and died.

I removed one myself before my wedding. I put Bazooka on it every day for a week or so 😬 You're not really supposed to do that but. .it did work. It fell off and bled a tiny bit and that was that.

I got the scholl kit off Amazon for a really annoying one on my neck, took a few treatments but it’s completely gone now.

My partner had a big one, also in her armpit. She used the Cryotag skin tag remover however was still struggling due to its location. She made an appt with the GP who managed to remove it, although she was asked to take the Cryotag remover as they didn't have the actual tools to remove it. It's been gone a couple of years now.
