Ibuprofen gel / hot water bottle?

Will start by saying I’m not medically trained.

Is it your lower back?
Try an ice pack. 20 mins on/20 mins off for a couple of hours. Should help if the pain is caused by inflammation or trapped nerve.
Take paracetamol alongside the ibuprofen but time your doses so you’re taking something every couple of hours (so ibuprofen at 8pm, paracetamol at 10pm, ibuprofen at midnight).

I found heat made my bulging disc/femoral nerve pain worse.
