Weird flutter in my heart

I was in bed but not trying to sleep yet. I sat up in bed to get my phone and suddenly there was a fluttering that felt like in my heart and my whole body just went limp it felt like I was falling. It stopped just as suddenly does anyone know what this was ? It felt quite scary. I've been meaning to see a doctor because I've been having a pain in my lung for a few weeks

I think you should contact your doctor.

See the GP.

Palpitations. Can be completely benign and linked to stress but you need an ECG to rule out an arrhythmia.

I'm not a doctor. When my husband had a pain in his lung they checked him for a blood clot in case of PE. Could also be palpitations, or something else, but you need a GP to be checking.

If you have a respiratory illness it's quite common to get increased heart rate and/or palpitations. So that is one possible cause.

This.

But she's also been having pain in her lung for a few weeks, so that needs checking and definitely worth mentioning the other symptoms.

Hope you feel better soon
