Bladder doesn't feel right - gave birth 2 weeks ago. Will this improve ??

I gave birth to 8 pounds 14 ds 2 weeks ago. Labour was long, I was prepped for a section but he was delivered by ventouse 15 hours after my waters were broken.

I had an epidural which the anaesthatist (sp ?) said was x5 strength the usual.

I don't seem to go very long between needing to pass water and often, when I have, it doesn't feel like it has all come out. There is no pain when passing the water...

I mentioned it to the midwife last week and she said it was the after effects of the epidural ??!! I didn't think that could be right as I had had the epidural 10 days previously....

Has anyone else had this and will it improve ? I can't go far from the loo .

Forgot to say - my stomach muscles separated far more than is usual (about 5 finger width rather than the usual 2) - so I don't know whether something might be pressing on my bladder as things now aren't in the right place due to the muscles issue ??

2 weeks isn't long - give your body a bit more time. I'm guessing that if it's not settled by the 6 week check then they will investigate further. Not much fun for you in the meantime though
