Probably TMi but i need some advice

My DS is mow 9 months old and our sex life hasn't got back to normal.

I gave up breastfeeding at 2 months and went back on the pill. Although my periods are fine i am bleeding in between on odd days and somtimes it looks like i am loosing a bit of 'tissue' type stuff when i have been to the loo.

I have had a clear smear test so am not too worried.

Sex is still quite uncomfortable too, it is now getting quite frustrating for both of us!!!

Is this normal???

Are you taqking the mini pill or the combined pill?

Combined. It was a new one called Marvelon. Stopped taking it this week to see if there was any change.

Oh maybe its break through bleeding? how long you been taking this new pill for?

About 6 months. The nurse had a bit of a look around when i went for my smear and everything looked 'normal'. Its really the discomfort during sex thats more frustrating!

It could be breakthrough bleeding, maybe you should try a different pill, it may be that this particular one doesnt agree with you and maybe the discomfort is something completely unrelated, where you stitched during childbirth for instance, if the discomfort continues i would deffo go to your GP and ask them to have a look around for you.
