I get migraines from time to time but the last one was the first one to leave me with a migraine hangover normally I am not affected afterwards. I am exhausted. Its been 2 days. How long do hangovers last

You would normally start to feel better now. Do you have any other symptoms? It can take longer for your body to process alcohol the older you get, typically after the age of 30.

Do you have a fever? Has your vision been affected?

I've never had postdrome lasting more than a day, but I have heard they can last longer. I'd probably be seeking advice from my GP if it lasted longer than 2 days though, even if just to see if they could suggest anything to get rid of it (or advice to stop it being so bad next time).

I never had this aspect of migraines at all until recently though so it came as a shock to get it. I've also had it once where I didn't even get the migraine symptoms in the first place.

Oh no, did you get another full on migraine?
Do please contact a medical professional for advice as there may be something they can do, or investigate further.

Its nothing serious as I've been like this for years and I think I'm just prone to headaches.maybe dehydrated or not eating enough or lack of sleep

Dehydration definitely causes me more issues I have found.

I often get a two day headache after drinking. Have a history of hangover migraines (can’t get up or keep anything down for a day, even after just a couple of drinks). The severity of my hangovers doesn’t correlate with the amount I have drunk.
my tips are - drink lots of water , eat something and a couple of ibuprofen before bed (not paracetamol because it’s adds to the work the liver is already doing)
Solpadeine max soluble - gets rid of a headache that other painkillers merely take the edge off

I had about 3 people contact me to see how I was after my migraine and hand attack which was kind, but one person i thought was a friend didn't bother. I messaged her and said I was disappointed. She read the message and ignored it. I will wait a while longer and if I get no reply I will block her and terminate the friendship

Mine can last a good few days. For a particularly bad migraine and it’s subsequent ‘hangover’, it can wipe me out for the best part of a week

I think the OP is talking about a ‘migraine hangover’, not an actual alcohol hangover!
