Hi,

Recently had blood test for diabetic review and whilst Haemoglobin A1c level isn’t (yet) showing for me, there is something else unexpected under Urea/Creat and rather confusing but has over riding normal no action, so I’m hoping there will be nothing more said.

Please can someone look over results seen under ‘Urea + Creat + Electrolytes’
(attached pic) mentioning mild CKD

I had a lot of antibiotics/penicillin a few months ago when I got close to sepsis (another part of body was a problem) and had wondered if I had kidney stone problems in the past which I think I passed alone without medical intervention.

Thanks for any eyes.

Completely normal! EGFR varies for a number of reasons, including hydration. I have recurrent UTIs and my eGFR has been as low as 62, but has bounced back into the 80s when I have recovered. Doctors only worry if it drops below 60. It is also normal for eGFR to drop a little as you get older.
