Has anyone had a colporrhaphy/ vaginal repair surgery?

I had two vaginal births within 2 years and had extensive tearing and episiotomies. I’ve got so much scarring, it feels like I’ve got tight elastic bands around the back wall of my vagina, I’ve got lots of lumps, and my vaginal opening is really large. My husband has only had sex with me once since we had our 2nd baby and said it didn’t feel great because everything is so loose. I’ve got pelvic floor issues and a minor bladder and cervical prolapse.
I’ve been through the nhs pathways, including a gynea assessment, urogynea, and to the tear clinics, but I’ve been discharged as they can’t do much for more me on the nhs.

I’ve been getting quotes to have a vaginoplasty/ vagina repair but I’m looking at £7.5-£8k 😳 I’d have to take a loan out for it but thinking it’s probably worth while.
Has anyone had one and got results they were happy with?

If it makes you feel comfortable and fixes all issues why not? Would it fix the bladder and cervical prolapses? X

Yeah apparently they can strengthen the internal walls to help to solve the prolapse. It would definitely improve my confidence and I’d hope to be able to exercise without constant worry of incontinence 😬 xx

Yes, several years ago and that was how much it cost even then. It did help.

Yes. My situation was less bad than yours but still painful. It helped a lot. Though it would obviously still be better not to have scar tissue at all, and it was 6-12 months for sex to be fully comfortable.
