To be worried about ibd

my GP the other day said i dont yet have a diagnosis of IBD, said in the context of severe pains and diarrhoea on iron and iron deffoicency anemea.

the language has got me worried as thought a normal colonoscopy, abdo pelvis MRI and nothing on pathology after a resection for endo rule this out. There was at some point a suggestion of pancolitis on ct

What was the time difference between the CT and colonoscopy?

I have Ulcerative Colitis which was Pancolitis at diagnosis. It was apparently very obvious during the colonoscopy.

Sorry you are so unwell and hope a diagnosis comes quickly so that appropriate treatment can begin.

Thanks sorry rto hear you have UC. How are you feeling after treatment.

there was 6 months vetween colonoscopy and ct. however, had bowel surgery in between. I also had a blood culture show an organism from GI track. A month after the pancolitis. CRP has only ever been slightly elivated. I am not sure that I do have an IBD as surely it would more consistantly show up.
