Appointment after PET CT scan

Had a PET CT scan yesterday and have just received a text message from the hospital saying they’ve booked me in for a follow-up appointment on 17 September (no other info was given). Seems like the scan was processed very quickly. Does this mean the news will be bad?

No not at all. Scan results appointments are usually about 2 weeks afterwards. All mine have been.

No not necessarily. Some departments are just better then others at getting things done quicker. Also if they have found anything it doesn't mean its anything really bad its usually not.
