Eye discomfort/pain

I've had an odd feeling in left eye where by it almost feels like it's becoming pointy and/or there's something inside scratching my eyelid.

I thought it might be dryness and eyedrops do seem to help but it comes and goes in one or both eyes.

For context I'm perimenopausal. Not experienced dryness pre peri.

Should I get it checked? It's very uncomfortable verging on pain.

I had this feeling. Saw an optician who found a stray eyelash at an odd angle (which I couldnt see), removed it, sorted!

Wow as simple as that!

It does feel a bit like that but this feeling comes ago in each eye, it can be fine for weeks and then suddenly both eyes feel bad or just one.

Might still be worth getting checked I guess.

Definitely. Also you could try dry eye drops with more viscosity?

Also try hycosan night gel. It helps a lot.
