Dog bite making me feel ill?

I got bitten by a dog just over two weeks ago. It didn't look like it broke the skin but must have caused some trauma as it scabbed. I cleaned it thoroughly afterwards and have kept it clean.

For the last few weeks, this last week specifically, I have felt very under the weather. No illness per se but a general malaise and tiredness. I'm an avid gym goer but only went once last week. Have dragged myself there today but worked at a low intensity as I had nothing else. I've got no other symptoms other than real fatigue. The bite area is not hot at all and it looks to be healing. Weirdly that ankle feels like I have gone over on it but it's not swollen it's just very sore on the outside of the bone.

I'm wondering if my body is just fighting to heal from the dog bite and that's why I'm so tired especially as I don't seem to have anything else wrong. Is this a possibility? Attached a pic of said bite (it's at the bottom of my, about 15cm from the top of my shoe).

You need to see your GP about this @Ilfurfante

It didn’t look like it broke the skin? So what was the damage

Judithdances
It was weird - the top layer of skin was intact so I thought it was bruised (I had trousers on too) but over the following days it scabbed over and seems like the damage was quite deep.

I’d go to the doctors. After 2 weeks that still looks quite red.

It looks like a pressure sore. I think you need to see your GP asap.
