wisdom tooth was taken out on Thursday, it had hooked(?) roots but came out ok
i am sore but not sure if it’s normal sore or not! Had dry socket once before but it was so long ago I can’t remember it well (except it wasn’t particularly painful)

Looks normal, clot In place and granulation tissue forming.

If you've any doubt around having dry socket, you don't have it. If you did you would know about it.

See I know people say that but last time I had it, it wasn’t that painful! I only knew as my dad told me my mouth smelled weird - he’s away on holiday or I would have asked him again Grin
that’s good it looks normal though

I went today to get it checked and I’ve got dry socket. He said it’s so common with lower wisdom teeth

When I had one out I salt washed mouth out 3x a day (after 48 hours had passed) REALLY helped, it was stinging but was unsure if it was just normal recovery pain or not - turns out i actually had a tiny piece of food in the gap covering it for days, the salt water helped as long as you’re not too forceful with it

No rinsing now as they have packed it

When I had dry socket, I didn't have any pain at all!
