DH started getting a pulling sensation in one of his testicles and groin on the same side about 2 weeks ago. That discomfort has increased gradually and is sometimes also felt in his back on that side. He isn't in agony but it is pretty uncomfortable. I thought it sounded like a kidney stone so got him to go to the GP yesterday where he spent 50 mins with a new trainee/student doctor who said it didn't definitively point to a kidney stone but got him to do a blood test and said they will refer him for an ultrasound which is a 2 week wait approx.
Today DH has started urinating a lot (9 times in the last 9 hours). Not like a UTI as no pain and plenty coming out each time and it is very pale. He hasn't been drinking any more than usual.
Should he be concerned? Or just take pain killers and wait for the scan? Not sure this is a kidney stone symptom.
