Lump on tailbone

I’ve had a small hard lump on my tailbone for a week now, doctors booked but wanted to know if anyone has had the same?
No pain associated with it at all, and I see lots of people talking about cysts but they seem to come with pain?!

Could be a pilonidal sinus that isnt infected and really common. Gp will know from looking at it. Honestly try not to worry. If it is no treatment is usually needed unless infected/ painful. It's basically an ingrowing hair.

Obviously see a GP as this is just an online opinion and not a medical diagnosis.
