Is this a bite or something else?

This appeared on my leg a few days ago - has faded a bit now. Second one in a few weeks. No pain or itching, no body symptoms. Just curious as to what it could be - looks weird with those spikes on one side.

Are you on any steroids or blood thinners? It looks like the type of bruise people on steroids get.
Id expect a bite to be raised and more skin coloured tbh.

No steroids. Daily low-dose aspirin.
