Hrt after subtotal hysterectomy

Hi, has anyone any advice on hrt after a subtotal hysterectomy? What are your experiences good and bad please?

I had a full hysterectomy aged 46 - thought I could manage without - I couldn’t !! Ended up at GP’s within weeks and got patches, never looked back. I couldn’t cope with the hot flushes but couldn’t cope with the restless legs, was keeping me awake all night.
