Growths on my labia

I've had two rough bumps growing on my labia. I went for a smear and she said are they cysts, and tried to squeeze them. They aren't and she said to see the GP. This was...several months ago now.

I've just had other things like migraines to deal with and have appointments for and can't deal with remembering more than one appointment at a time. Plus can only go when I'm not on my period.

Anyway I am going to make this appointment and see the GP in fhe next couple of weeks. Slightly nervous what it might be. I really hope it's nothing or I am screwed.

I have these. They come and go. Usually either blocked glands (Bartholin's/skenes cysts) or just hormone driven benign cysts. Cancerous growths usually look rather obvious.

I had one that stuck around for a couple of years. Didn't hurt but really looked bad. One day I realised it had popped and spent at least two hours slowly squeezing it out. it was a sporners delight if gross. Hasn't come back. So if it's not bothering you, I'd probably leave it.

Thanks good to know. Problem is you try to Google these things and it looks like something from a 1930s horror movie.

Just to update - went to GP and they are filiform warts. Nothing to worry about. Gave me a script for salicylic acid which is going to sting like fuck. Also referred me to dermo in case the acid is too much to see if they can freeze them off.

Good luck. Is it worth taking a couple of pain killers before the acid? I've seen people suggest that before waxing!

Good idea. I will try that thanks. Especially as the GP rang back to say no they don't cryongenically freeze vaginal warts on the NHS. So acid is my only hope 😂, unless I pay.
