Tonsillitis

I was prescribed antibiotics yesterday morning for tonsillitis. I've had a days worth already but honestly my throat feels even more sore today. The pain when I swallow is horrendous. When should the antibiotics start making me feel better? I just want to curl up in bed. My head's throbbing and my ears and jaw. I never realised how bad tonsillitis could make you feel!

Tonsillitis is really horrible. Usually after two full days of antibiotics things will turn around for the better. Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you. Hopefully soon I'll be feeling better then. Currently it's agony to even speak. Not helpful when you've got young kids lol

Tonsillitis seems to be doing the rounds at the minute. I had it the first time round 4 weeks ago and took 7 days of amoxicillin then it came back a week later and was put on augmenten and that finally cleared it! Hope you feel better soon x
