Teeth: is it possible that DS could have another one...

he is 2.11. I must admit I've never had chance to count up all those he has but had just assumed he had them all. But he has a runny nose and was complaining when eating and pointing to his teeth saying they hurt. Is it possible that he has another to come through?

It is possible. Some kids don't get all their molars for ages. But equally likely he could have a sinus infection - it often hurts in the jaw line. Does he have a temperature?

no he hasn't got temperature...he can;t get off to sleep - have just been up to him & he is saying its hurting. Have given ibuprofen. My poor boy!

Teething gel? Do you have any? Ibuprofen is great - if it's a mucousy thing it will help decongest him and if it's a toothy thing it'll reduce the gum swelling.

Poor little thing, it's awful when they give you that 'I'm sore' face isn't it?

Thought we had teething gl but have never used it and can't find it anywhere. Hope the Ibuprfen will make it better. He said 'Mummy give me a kiss and make it go away' ohhhhhh I wish I could! What is worse is we go away for 4 days to morrow & there will be late nights & non stop stuff - I really wanted him to have a good nights sleep tonight. Fingers crossed!
