Son has had increasingly raised troponin for the past few weeks ranging from 19 now at 30. He's had several normal ECGs, a rudimentary echo that was clear, had an elevated CRP originally but now that has dropped to normal, bloods are now normal after originally showing elevated/low lymphocytes/monocytes. He originally had pain in his chest but has asthma and a previous pneumothorax, so thought it might be that again. Doctors don't know what is causing it.
What could this be?
