I’ve been using verruca treatment on my foot and the verruca has been very sore over the last day. It’s been throbbing a lot and it’s sore to walk on, though I’ve put this down to the treatment and the fact it’s on the heel of my foot where I bear a lot of weight.
But from looking at it this evening, I’m sure I can see a tracking line coming off it in an arch towards my ankle. Can anyone else see it? I thought it might be a line from sitting down and there being a crease across my foot but it’s still there now a few hours later.
If it is a tracking line then Dr Google says it’s quite serious. I phoned 111 and was told an out of hours GP would call. They rang me but basically fobbed me off and told me it doesn’t sound urgent at all. I’ll contact the GP in the morning but I’m not sure how worried I should be. I’d welcome your thoughts… picture attached, though I’ve blacked out the verruca because it’s a bit grim
