IDD therapy for compressed nerve in neck

Has anyone got any experience of "IDD therapy" (Intervertebral Differential Dynamics Therapy) for a compressed nerve in their neck, or neck/back problems more widely?

I've got what the physio has determined to be C5/C6 nerve compression, pretty classic symptoms with weeks of increasing neck/shoulder/arm pain and weakness. They're recommending a course of this IDD therapy basically stretching out my neck to release the pressure on the nerves, along with various exercises, some manual therapy and so on. I had the first session today and it was less violent than I feared! I'm just really hoping it will give some relief fairly soon as it's been very uncomfortable.

Has anyone else had similar, did you have a good experience with it?

Can I ask if this helped @givemushypeasachance as I'm having similar issues and looking for some ideas what treatments to try next.

@TasteOfHerCherryChapstick yep it was really good - made an amazing difference, after a few weeks the pain totally went away. Of course I then classically didn't keep up with any of the exercises they gave me to do, and the past month or so have started to have twinges again, so I may need to go back and be stretched out some more.

Ooh interested in this as I have compression C4 to C7, my PMI have refused the Facet Joint injections proposed by my consultant so am looking for something else to help. The pain is horrendous.
