There is a mistake in title. Child is on day 5 of temperature
Like the title says, today (Sunday) makes for day 5 of my daughter having a fever. She is responding to Calpol and nurofen ie. Temp comes right down and she feels normal. The only symptom she has complained of is a headache. She did say one evening that she had a sore tummy too. But it's mainly just the headache. She has no rash or stiff neck.
This morning she has woken up with no headache, which is an improvement, but she still has a very high temp (39.5)
I sort of hoped she would test as being COVID positive so at least then I could put it down to that, but a test has just shown up a negative result.
Going to the doctor on a Sunday is expensive but if I wait until tomorrow it will be free. She doesn't look like she needs medical attention at the moment. What do you all think?
