bit worried been referred to the hospital

i have a tight feeling in my chest, mild occasional pains and sometimes fluttery feelings in throat and palpitations.

doctor has referred me to cardiology. have had moments of panic thinking omg imagine if i have a heart attack !

This could all be down to stress. You are, at least, on the road to getting to the bottom of it. Is there anything you can achieve by worrying about it? If not, then try your best not to. Good luck.

I get this frequently, apparently lots of people do. Mine is due to a leaky heart valve, but I don't need any medication for it.

clutching at straws tonight but sick of this odd feeling in chest, would it do me any harm to try dh salbutamol inhaler do you think ?

the tight feeling has been going on for a week now, although i have had it go away for a few hours at a time and one day felt o.k nearly all day.
seems to be at it's worst first thing in the morning and watching tele at night.

what makes you think panic attack kerrymum ?

how long would a panic attack last ?could you keep having them over and over ?

i am always worrying but have never had this before!
