What symptoms did everyone get with the latest strain of Covid ?

I know nots not routine to test for Covid anymore but my mil had stage 4 lung cancer so when we are due to see her we test for her safety. My hubby has felt off colour so he tested and is positive so the likelihood is is that we will all end up with it 😬 what symptoms has everyone had with this latest strain ? X

I wouldn’t guarantee you’ll get it. 1 Dc had it a few weeks ago, rest of us have been fine. Dc started with ‘barbed wire throat’, painful eyes, temp, and D without the V. (Did a test as we were planning to visit a vulnerable (severely immunocompromised) family member).

Excessively runny nose , I honestly thought it was a really bad hayfever flareup until I started with the tickly cough I always get with Covid

Unbelievable nausea but no vomiting and zero energy. DP had zero energy but more chest and throat symptoms. I had a booster in October so I'm not sure if that helped. Hopefully you don't get it!

Cough
Brain fog (still have this)

D with a little v, severe vertigo, sore throat, tiredness - not 💯 sure it was Covid but DD1 had it 10 days before (tested) so I think it was - vertigo made me bed bound so I avoided everything!

I had it last week. My symptoms were headache, blocked sinuses, excessive sneezing, blocked nose, cough, general feeling 'rough' & tired.

DS had it first, and his symptoms were similar to mine. Two of my friends had it - they both had sore throats, one had some gut problems.

had it in June. Started with scratchy throat which turned into extremely painful throat, like swallowing razor blades. Cough, extremely tired, brain fog. runny nose and completely lost my taste and smell which lasted nearly 4 weeks - it was the worst Covid I’ve had. I didn’t test but assume that’s what it was.

DD and DH did not get it from me

I'm just getting over it. I have felt properly ill.

Diarrhea and high temperature
Hoarseness and dry cough later becoming productive
Nausea and poor appetite and a lot of dry heaving
Breathlessness
Aching joints and weakness
Brain fog

It was the diarrhea that made me test for covid as I'd read it was one of the new symptoms. Gut has settled, and the cough is getting better, but I'm still breathless and weak as a kitten.

We had very streamy cold plus headaches. DH had diarrhoea. Whole household got it.
