Wasn't sure where to post this, hopefully it's in the right place.

I am currently taking bovine collagen in my coffee every morning. Plus I'm taking vitamin D and B12 in tablet form after a recent blood test showed i was lacking in these.

I dont sleep very well so was wondering whether i also need to take magnesium. Can anyone advise please? I've looked at magnesium and there's loads of different of ones. Which one would I need to take and in what form? Do I take it before bed?

And for full disclosure, I'm also taking MJ for weightloss and am pre-diabetic.

I take magnesium before bed, it seems to help me with restless legs, sleep, and palpitations. There are so many different types which makes it hard to choose, I take the Floradix magnesium liquid tonic because I like the brand and it tastes nice! You could also try one of the herbal sleep teas, it won’t necessarily make a dramatic difference but there’s some evidence for ingredients like oats, camomile, passion flower, valerian being helpful, and the ritual of winding down with a hot drink can be good. I like the twinings sleep tea, but there are loads of options you could try. Just one thought, is the MJ having any impact on your resting heart rate? It can be harder to sleep if your heart rate is sitting a bit higher than normal, your body doesn’t feel as calm as it usually does.

You can bathe in Epsom Salts to get magnesium too

You should take magnesium glycinate

Magnesium Glycinate, you’ll notice the difference after 2/3 weeks.

Thank you all, I'll order some magnesium glycinate. Hopefully that'll help.

Idk how old you are, but I am middle aged menopausal woman and have been struggling with sleep for years. I have been using magnesium glycinate and I think it helped. However, I insisted that my doctors puts me on hormonal therapy and honestly, it was a game changer. I sleep like a baby now.
