Small cut near anus/perineum?

I seem to have a small cut/tiny fissure on my perineum, very close to the anal skin. Not sure why I have this? I just came off my period so not sure if that's relevant? I have noticed the skin there can be especially sensitive especially when wiping.

Anyone had this?

I had it after childbirth. Is it painful? Mine was excruciating

I have had this. Use wet wipes to clean up (don’t flush them) and a healing cream. I found any kind of sanitary towel/ liner made the area much worse. You have my sympathies ; it’s so painful.

I would pop to your GP for an examination@savebuckbeak. I had this and was diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosis. Best of luck 🍀

I do have LS! But it's in remission, no signs or symptoms, and never affected me there anyway. I had my checkup with a vulvar dermatologist a few weeks ago who said all looked good. But maybe it's still that? There's no white patches or anything there otherwise, weird.

Thanks! Did you figure out what caused it?

I had one caused by a bath plug! I know you'lll all want to know how. Years ago when I was married we occasionally had a bath together and the plug hole was at the end of the bath. The rule was whoever run the bath had the nice end (the one without the plug hole. Rules were regularly broken and I ended up at the plug hole side. My then husband thought it hilarious to pull me by my legs towards him and without him or I knowing the metal triangular bit the bath plug chain was attached to was in the up position and my bumhole was directly atop it. Well you can imagine the sharp pain and subsequent bleeding bumhole I ended up with.

The moral of this story is - get a bath with a plughole in the middle.

Ls can flare at any time @savebuckbeak unfortunately 🤔

I know this must have been very painful but it made me do a laugh.
