i remember hearing an "expert" saying that if you only buy one organic product make it milk. i always have.

Thank you - just what I needed to hear having just doubled the cost of our order with the milkman by changing to organic milk. I'd been wondering if it actually made any difference at all - good to know that it does .

But also feel very very sorry for the poor cows who are milked to misery in the dairy industry. That's why I buy organic milk. I don't want to contribute to cruelty.

I drink it because I can have as much as I want and it doesn't cause an IBS nightmare. A tiny amount of cheap milk (in a cup of tea for example) and I may as well get a couple of magazines and go sit on the bog.

Milk has got so expensive here that organic is not so much of a premium by comparison any more.

I always use organic milk ...I read that conventionally reared cows are constantly on antibiotics to ward off illness ...guess where some of that would end up!

I'm very allergic to lots of antibiotics - maybe that's why normal milk makes me sick.
