how do you clean a mooncup?

the website says wash it regularly with soap and hot water and that it can be cleaned more thoroughly between periods. But it doesn't say what method you should use to clean it more thoroughly. Can I put it in my steam sterilizer thingy?

yes you can or you can put it in the dishwasher or you are supposed to serilise it by boiling it in water for 5 mins

thanks! I'll boil it. And then just chuck it back in its bag? Does that need washing do you think?

I never wash the bag, just boil it day after period and leave for next time.

the bag is fine unless it has got very dusty or something
you're only putting a sterile mooncup into it each month so it should be fine
