Does anyone else suffer from trigeminal neuralgia? :(

Yep... for 15 years.
Now well controlled thank god.
I was on Carbamazopine at first, (made me horribly queasy) so switched to Pregabalin and finally Gabapentin...which I am still on. Get the odd flare up in cold weather or if I have ANY dental work on that side but otherwise it's 99% better.
It's hideous!

Yes. For the last 11 years.

Also was started on carbamazapine, which I had to come off due to side effects. I've successfully been on gabapentin ever since, with no side effects. Low level flare ups of pain only and I can recognise my triggers to expect it.

Yes - me too 🥺 for less than a year - tried Carbamezipine and amitriptoline - had really bad side effects. Currently on nortriptiline, lamatrogine, naproxen and Nefopam. Waiting for pulsed RF lesioning on the V2 & v3 nerves next month, and hopefully my life back pain and drug free. Vile condition.

Me too! Unfortunately! I’ve had it now for 5 years! I take carbamazepine and Lamotrigine.
