Vinegar soak burn?

I started with Athletes Foot about 10 days ago. Lamisil spray hasn't touched it so Googled last night and saw lots of recommendations to do a vinegar soak

I didn't observe rules re dilution and put quite a lot of vinegar in not a lot of water 🙈. It was really stinging but I thought Great, its working!! Left it 20 mins then rinsed it off in the shower

When I went to bed it was still stinging and I noticed the underside of my feet and top of big toe and adjacent toe on my worst affected foot were wet and oozy with a yellow liquid

Didn't think too much of it but it's continued all day today and on Googling I think it's more likely caused by the vinegar than the Athletes Foot and has given me a minor skin burn. Has this ever happened to anyone? What did u do?

Hubby bought Lamisil gel for me today but im too scared to use it till this calms down as I think it'll stinging like crazy - a pain as I need to get on top of the AF.

Suffice to say my feet are shredded and im feeling very sorry for myself. It stings like a bitch 😕

I have a touch of health anxiety and im worried. Thanks

Have you very throughly rinsed all the vinegar off? If it's a very mild chemical burn it should just need keeping clean and protected and should heal in a few days. Definitely don't put any other active products on it until healed.

Perhaps post of how it looks now?
