For about 6 days now I’ve been feeling really crappy. I feel clammy, nausea, have on and off diarrhoea, feel a bit woozy aswell. I’ve taking Imodium a couple times but it’s the nausea that’s really dragging me down. I’m genuinely so so exhausted I’ve had 3 weeks annual leave from work and I’ve barely lifted a finger. I’m due back Monday and I’m absolutely dreading it. I’ve got blood tests and a check up on 29th. Does anyone have any tips for the nausea feeling and the woozy feeling. Thank you

There’s been something doing the rounds where I work - definitely not norovirus but something that is causing low level gastric symptoms. One person has vomited a couple of times with it but the rest of us have had mild diarrhoea (varying from a day to a week), unhappy tummies (pain or nausea) and generally felt hot and bothered, achy and generally unwell. Unfortunately most have been well enough to be in work, hence why it is spreading between us. It could be that. And it’s not Covid - not one positive test between us.

Forgot to add advice:

a good probiotic for the diarrhoea (Optibac Saccharomyces boulaardi is best) and if the nausea is bad, try Avomine, which you can get over the counter to n some pharmacies. Boots don’t sell it though. Pepsi Bismol is back in the UK and that can be good for nausea and diarrhoea too.
