I fell down the stairs about 4 weeks ago, hitting my bum and lower back on each step as I went. I'm obese so it's a lot of weight to be landing on repeatedly.
Since then, my coccyx has been sore. I can't sit comfortably, so I'm using a coccyx cushion, but that's not 100% helpful, so at times I find myself sitting leaning to one side, so take the pressure off my coccyx. I have an office job so spend a lot of time sitting at a desk. It also hurts when I'm lying in bed sometimes.
My pelvis is painful as well. It had calmed down, but is getting worse again. I think it might be because of the asymmetrical posture so much of the time. I had PGP during my pregnancies which took years to fully go away, and it was always aggravated by asymmetrical or twisting movements. What I'm feeling now feels very much like that - it's the same area of my lower back, my pubic joint and hips.
Is there any point in getting any of it looked at? Everything I've found about the coccyx issue says there's no point getting it x-rayed because there's nothing to be done even if it's broken, but I'm just so sick of the whole mess. I have a frozen shoulder as well and I feel like I just can't do anything comfortably at this stage.
