Hi
what do you guys recommend that has worked for fungal toe nails?
I’ve read about tea tree oil, Vicks, lamisil, curanail etc but hard to get a feel for real experiences.
already on meds that can upset liver so oral meds last resort.
thanks

You’ll probably need some antibiotics if it’s persistent

After 5 years of trying various different things (Curanail, tea tree, Vicks) I have given up and am just about to start on the tablets. How badly infected is the nail? Mine is at the point where the top half has detached from the nail bed (sorry for gross description!). I had the most luck with Vicks but it was still always there, just a bit more under control. As soon as I stopped it got very bad. I am so fed up with it so I hope the tablets work!

Antibiotics work against bacteria so would no affect on fungus!!!
OP - nothing works :(. I just cover with poderm breathable nail varnish now.
