A friend of mine takes kalms and I wanted to try them for myself as well, has anyone had any experience taking kalms, because I'm curious about this herbal remedy

I used to buy them at a time when I was experiencing anxiety. The ingredients are mainly herbal as far as I recall. The GPs are reluctant to prescribe anything I found, as they think you'll become an addict or something.

However I found the Kalms just made me feel sleepy without actually calming me down, which was not helpful, so I stopped trying with them.

Chamomile tea is very calming.

Valeriqn is the main ingredient in herbal supplements for relaxation.

One of my dogs has Valerian biscuits when it’s firework night.

It takes the edge off anxiety.

Of course that may be just me, perhaps they'll work for you and your friend.

Wills Powders are meant to be very good.

They don’t do a thing for me but I’m a hardcore insomniac and stress head. I’ve had multiple breakdowns over the years due to insomnia and luckily have a GP who will prescribe me Diazepam and Zopicline. I’ve always been uber cautious about using them as I’m fully aware that they are addictive, but in 25 years of ad-hoc usage (sometimes I go moths without either) - they are the only things that give me relief. I actually need 7.5mg diazepam minimum, to calm down if extremely emotional or stressed. Zopiclone, I have 7.5mg as that’s the dose they are in, but I could probably force myself to stay awake all night if I wanted to-they only work if I’m relaxed to start with and not hyper and full of adrenaline. I’ve tried many SSRI’s and all they do for me is to stop me crying and numb my emotions. I do suspect I’ve had undiagnosed ADHD for years but I’m probably too old to be bothering my GP with that now - mid 50’s.
