Breast lump, moveable?

How moveable is a moveable breast lump? Sorry if that sounds a stupid question. Just been to doctors with a breast lump, was briefly examined by an advanced practitioner, she couldn’t find it at first I had to show her.

I described it as smooth, moveable and firm, but if you really press firm on it , it kind of collapses a bit.
She thought it seemed quite fixed, but she didn’t try to move it. She has referred me to breast clinic as I was expecting, have been there before.

Just struggling here partner is working away, anxiety spiralling.

It doesn't really matter whether it's moveable or not, it still needs checking. You've done the right thing and will be seen soon. If you've been to breast clinic before you know what happens.
All I would add is just because you've been seen before and it was ok doesn't mean you should ignore a lump in the future as it might be something different.

You've done exactly the right thing, and you know what to expect at the breast clinic. Try to keep busy until your appointment; see friends.
