Compression socks - help!

Looking for a bit of advice!

I was prescribed class 2 compression socks last year for varicose veins. I have been pretty rubbish at wearing them every day but I'm really trying to do it now because I can see another purpley patch developing below my ankle. Problem is, my prescribed socks are black and it's summer. I feel like I can't wear cropped jeans/trousers or dresses now. I spent hours at the weekend trying to find a pair of class 2 sheer nude type knee high stockings and a pair of similar tights, so that I can wear some summery things. They came today and still like American tan tights colour! I'm a peely wally Northern European skin type. What do folk do? I'm not one for wearing shorts or getting my legs out but I do like a cropped trouser in summer or a longish dress.

My questions are:

Does anyone know of a sheer properly pale/nude compression sock they would recommend?

Could I just get some support tights/stockings from Boots for the days that I want to wear something more summery?

Does it matter if I don't wear them the odd day?

Do I just accept that I have to replace all my trousers with long length?

Can't lie, prospect of not being able to wear sandals again is pretty depressing. I know you can get open toe ones but don't find it comfortable walking on the seam and they look kind of goofy.

I would be so grateful for some insight and advice on this. Thank you!

I bought these ones from Amazon. They're more of a weak tea kind of colour (am also a v pale person!).

Mine aren't for varicose veins so I can't advise on your other questions I'm afraid.
