Mine varies a lot as I am affected by allergens and if I have a cold/cough (as I do at the moment) - good for me is about 600. Problem is the asthma nurse always expects me to score like this. I do it from time to time but only if I'm feeling wheezy. Have been hugely better since I was given Symbicort though.

Yes, I measure it a few times a week, and when on steroids/antibiotics (I have bronchiectasis) it's 3 times a day. Will sometimes use as a guide of whether I should go to a+e or not. My best is 500 and lowest has been 150, but generally start steroids if I can't get above 350.

mine is 400 just now but I think my technique is quite poor (that's what I'm blaming it on anyway!)

Well seeing as I have a nebuliser at home, I would go if it sticks around 50% after nebs or I am feeling terrible with it (blueness and sweating ect).

Your peak flow is 68% now, which is quite low, but not really an emergency unless you are feeling awful. Have you doubled up your inhalers/ started steroids?

You may want to have 2-3 puff od blue inhaler every few hours to keep on top of the wheezing, and double the dose of your preventer if not taking oral steroids. Also do you have allergies? If so take an antihistamine every day. HTH

And straight off, I'd go to a and e if your peak flow is below 60% and you don't have any steroids or nebs in the house. Unless you feel okay with it. Generally gets dangerous below 50% for me.
