Pease help, I can hardly walk. Is chiropody available on NHS?
I bought a pair of shoes this time lst year. I wore them once for about an hour. Although they were my size on the lable, they were too small when I wore them, which is why I only wore them for an hour. They gave me very painful corns as a result of their one hour's wear
I kept going to private chropodists who would do something to it, and then it would come back straight away. They gave me lots of little protective pads to wear. These were grat when they stayed in place, but they never did. I am on my feet all day, and they always slipped off, even when I stuck them on with plasters. The corns seemed to subside, but are now back with a real vengence. I can hardly walk, the pains go right up my leg.
I can't afford any more private chiropodists, but desperately need something. I have tried filing of hrd skin, rubbing cream into it, and wearing socks (yuk). All corn plasters managed to do was make all the skin around go mushy, and leave corn intact .
