I've grown a small mole on top of my foot should I be worried?

It isn't itchy or an odd colour or anything but at the age of 53 I've just noticed this mole.
I don't want to bother my GP unnecessarily but should i be worried?

Get it checked by your GP. That is the only way to make sure and stop you worrying

Donotgogentle · 02/07/2025 15:21

If it’s new you should definitely get it checked by your gp, you’re not wasting their time.

Millers5star · 02/07/2025 15:42

Always get a new mole checked.

ThePussy · 02/07/2025 15:44

Get it checked

I think to make it easy you can email a photo to the surgery, they forward it to Dermatology and then they advise if no action necessary / or arrange an appointment if needed.

simsbustinoutmimi · 02/07/2025 15:45

not normal, get it checked

Definitely, I had a cancerous mole removed last year and the consultant said you don't get new moles once you are about 40

Francestein · 02/07/2025 16:37

Yes - it’s new and its edges are blurry. Definitely get it checked.
