Missing the Pill

I wasn't sure where to put this but hopefully someone will be able to answer this, as I had no joy from the leaflet.
I am currently taking Microgynon 30 (a combined pill) and have two questions:

If you miss a pill, will you definitely ovulate, even if you take all the others at the right time?

And if so, how soon after missing a pill will you ovulate?

There is no definite answer.
If you miss a pill you should always use extra contraception for 7days after.
If you miss a pill and have sex, it is unprotected and therefore you should not have sex without protection, or take the pill until you can be sure you are not pregnant, i.e. after your period.
