I hear you. The last few months have been awful, nothing touches it. It feels like it’s impacting my bladder too. Javelin arse has been so painful too. So far I’ve tried ibroprufen every 4 hours, tens machine, fennel tea & no alcohol. The no alcohol doesn’t help with the pain but makes my period less heavy & only lasts for 5/6 days.

mefenamic acid

I find buscopan really helps if painkillers alone aren't working

Naproxen is the only one that worked for me, you can get a small pack over the counter from the pharmacy to start with but I’d go to the gp if you can as period pain this bad isn’t normal. Hope you feel better soon!!

Relaxing with hips open? Sounds wierd but helps me - either sitting on a fit ball or lying back with feet touching each other and knees flopped open.

Also magnesium - anything with chocolate, dark leafy greens, or magnesium glycinate tablets.

Give tranexamic acid a go
