Does this sound like shock or concussion?

21 month old DD fell down three steps earlier. She landed on her face and had a bad nose bleed but no obvious head injury. She screamed and cried straight away. After about 1 minute of crying DH bought her upstairs to where I was having a nap. As soon as he handed her to me she stopped crying and lay on my chest mournfully sniffing. We lay there for 45 mins as I quietly sang to her and she just lay still cuddling me.

For DD to lie still for 45 wins is odd. For her to say nothing in that time is also odd. After the 45 mins she did start to talk a little bit but veru quietly and her behaviour was v gentle for her. I changed her for bed and she did cry loudly for a minute but then settled. I then gave her milk and put her to bed like normal.

Now I am paranoid that it was not just shock that made her so quiet and placid. What if it was concussion? Should I go and wake her up?

Sounds like she just got a fright. she wasn't knocked out was she? I'd worry if she vomited a lot or was drowsy or wobbly on her feet otherwise I'd just check on her but not wake her up.
