(TMI) worried about painful spot in bum

A big spot has between forming the better part of a week in between my bum hole and vulva, it seems to be getting worse rather than settling down. Obviously can’t show here but I’m getting anxious about it. Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be? It’s looking quite raw, painful, not itchy at all. GP isn’t available until next week

Could be a boil? Try and sit in a hot bath with magnesium flakes in. Or pop a hot flannel on it.

My husband had a perianal abscess and this is how it started; if I was you I’d phone the practice and beg to get seen today, you might need antibiotics.

Hi yes agree with PP, it’s an area that will
become easily infected. Best to make an appointment and get it checked out .
